Convolutional Neural Network
[konvuh'loohshuhnulh / 'nyoohruhl / ˈnɛtwɜk/] /kɒnvəˈluʃənəl/ /ˈnjurəl/ /'netwerk
Artificial Neural Network composed of feature detectors (called “filters” or “kernels” that scan an image to detect simple patterns (such as lines, textures, and colour variations). This information is then combined by subsequent layers to infer the presence of increasingly elaborate features: corners, angles, textures, parts of objects, and finally, the objects themselves.
